Great 1 bedroom 1 bath downstairs unit for a small family vacation, walking distance to the beach, and dog friendly! Unit B is the downstairs portion of this home. Other guests may be renting the upstairs unit. Kitchen has full size appliances for your cooking needs. There is a private bedroom with tv to relax at the end of a day at the beach. Additional sleeping is provided on the sleeper sofa. Dining inside at the small table for two or enjoy dining al fresco at the picnic table. Grab your fishing poles, your flip flops, and your sunscreen as you and your family are already at the perfect Vacation spot! Enjoy your morning coffee under the covered patio area and enjoy the sounds of the waves splashing, and the spectacular sunsets. There may be some variations in furnishings or decor since pictures were taken.
Galveston is an amazing and fun community! There are so many different things to do and see...there truly is something for everyone. You will find go-carts and miniature golf, fishing, dining at Jimmy's on the Pier, batting cages and our local movie theater. Moody Gardens Golf Course is located nearby, as is the entire Moody Gardens experience and our world-famous waterpark, Schlitterbahn. In town, enjoy one of many fabulous restaurants that offer everything from fine dining to international cuisine to some of the best burgers around. If shopping is your thing, visit The Strand and Post Office where quaint shops and art galleries abound. You won't want to miss Mod Coffeehouse or Hey, Mikey's Ice Cream! The Grand 1894 Opera House offers some of the best entertainment and shows in Texas, featuring headliners from across the country, as well as a historic setting for live theatre. And, we love our festivals and special events here in Galveston! Mardi Gras, Lone Star Biker Rally, Dickens on the Strand, and the numerous triathlons, marathons and walk-a-thons are popular events throughout the year. Bird watching, kayaking, and fishing of all kinds round out the many outdoor activities enjoyed by both locals and visitors alike.
We welcome our guests and work diligently to make their experience at Beach Waves B memorable. However, we only rent to adults over the age of 25 and families. A photo copy of identification of main renter is required prior to arrival of stay. Home is dog friendly for up to 2 pets. $100.00 non-refundable fee for the 1st pet and $50 non-refundable fee for the 2nd pet. 25lb limit. No cats allowed. Guest must contact our office prior to arrival to make arrangements for payment of pet fee and/or signature on a pet addendum. The Owner has installed exterior cameras at this home for security purposes. This provides visual and audio information to the homeowner upon entry to the property. There are no devices inside the home. All fees and services are subject to 15% tax.

We really enjoyed our stay, the house was close the beach. We will stay again. The kitchen was lacking many common kitchenware. (IE cookie sheets, knives, skillet, bowls), however, if people before rented both units, they may have moved them to the top. Other then that, everything was peaceful. A little gem.

Loved the house. Right by the beach. Super clean. Loved the outdoor shower. Definitely needs air conditioner in the bedroom. House was very clean. Really wnjoyed the communication and kindness from the property manager.

Its perfect if you want to avoid the holiday crowds because the property itself is right on residential beach! Jamaica beach wasnt nearly as crowded as the state park or Seawell beach. As people who have travelled to Galveston several times, we loved the isolated part and didnt mind driving 20 mins to get to the popular amenities.
But, that were ALOT of cons. The property downstairs is not made for families. That couch bed was literally on wires and poked my daughter a few times when she got bruised. The couch itself is much older and didnt appear too clean so I was the one who washed the couch cover before i would let my daughter on it. The freezer had very yellow ice.
The TV in the bedroom was broken, we were told that the owner was aware of the broken TV but wasnt going to do anything about it. Which is misguided on the description of the property.
My husband and I pride ourselves in being extremely clean guests, so it was appalling to stay in a semi clean property, which was "inspected" by another professional per card left on kitchen table.
There was a fenced in backyard but the other person did not pick up their dogs poop so we did it, because we didnt want to get charged for someone's lack or responsibility.
Another misguided info, it was stated we would access to the community pool. What was meant, was you would have to pay to access the pool for the area of Jamaica beach.
A huge health concern was how infested of mosquitoes the property was.
