The location was perfect. It was quiet, the Saturday market on the doorstep was good and the walk to anywhere in town fast and easy. The swimming-pool was lovely and cleaned every day.
The villa was bare of all necessities. No welcome pack, a toilet roll per bathroom, no oil, vinegar, salt & pepper, dishwashing liquid nor tablet. Not even a sponge and one single tea towel. The covers on the bed were thin, not a blanket in sight. When we complained we had all been cold after the first night (the villa was rented for the end of October), we were told the owner would be notified then absolutely nothing happened! The deckchairs were old. In fact, one broke on the first day and was taken away straight away by maintenance but was never replaced. The villa only has one solar water tank for 6 double bedrooms and the shower was cold every morning.
