Mews house in the centre of Henley-on-Thames

Was a perfect secluded spot in the heart of Henley! Ideally situated for exploration, and secure for families with young children. it had tea and coffee and a well equipped kitchen! Even had games and toys for the little ones!!

The location is excellent and convenient. The decor and overall aesthetics are pleasant, and the space feels thoughtfully designed. The kitchen and bathrooms are well-stocked with essentials, which is helpful for longer stays.

I have shared private feedback with the hosts, but the overall cleanliness and organisation were poor. There was visible dust on surfaces, sticky furniture, and some dirty crockery in the cupboards. The kitchen cupboards were disorganised and appeared to contain leftover items from previous guests. Cleaning supplies were not hygienic, only used, soapy and stained cloths were provided, and they were stored alongside toilet cleaning products under the kitchen sink. There was also a stale-smelling coffee left in the fridge, and I found a broken bed pole under the bed, which raised concerns about how thoroughly the property is cleaned between stays. Additionally, it is worth noting that parking is tricky, as was the finding the location. It's best to put The Henley Florist in Google Maps - as opposed to the actual postcode.
