About this villa rental
The beautifully renovated luxury provencal stone house is secluded but in easy walking distance of the medieval village of Le Bar-sur-Loup. Once home to the late French sculptor André Deluol, the house is surrounded by 4300m2 of Mediterranean gardens planted with fruit trees, cypress and centennial olive trees.
The private 5x10m heated pool, heated from 1st May till end October, has plenty of toys and you'll find table tennis and a boules pitch in the garden. If you’re lucky you might even spot deer in the garden!
Next to the pool is a fully equipped poolhouse with outdoor kitchen.
Due to uneven terrain La Fenice 2 is not suitable for less abled persons and unfortunately children under 6 years old are not accepted due to the terrain and pool safety.
The 3 bedroomed fully air conditioned house is ideal for couples or families!
A second characteristic provencal house, "La Fenice 1", is situated on the property and is not occupied during your stay. ("La Fenice 1" is available for rent on special request only.)
La Fenice is waiting for you to stay, wind down and relax in a calm, sunny provençale environment!
La Fenice is accredited with the highest award of 4 "Epis" by the rating agency of "Gites de France".

Excellent stay at this property. The villa, pool and grounds were beautifully kept and very clean. The villa was fully equipped with everything we needed.Although lovely, I don't think the online photos do the villa justice, the outside kitchen area was large, fully equipped with sink, hob and dishwasher which was fantastic.Art was very friendly and helpful in his communications both prior to arrival and also on hand during our stay.Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay. Loved the pool and the village. Terrific meal at les Jardines. Village is loveky and there is lots to see in nearby towns. Driving on winding roads takes some practice.

Had a lovely holiday at La Fenice. Villa itself was gorgeous and had everything we needed. Really beautiful setting on the edge of the village of Bar Sur Loup, which is in walking distance of a few restaurants. The whole family enjoyed the pool and the amazing outdoor kitchen. We even had some deer wander through the garden most days. And lastly, thank you so thank you so much to Art and Milly for all the helpful advice and looking after us so well.

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful villa in a great location, hosted by a lovely couple. Everything was as advertised, and the pictures on the site do fully represent what you see in arrival. To demonstrate how well the villa is prepared, anything you may think you need is on site and not just the obvious things like charger plugs for all your devices - a good size cooler and ice packs for you to use on day trips is example of the detail consider by the hosts. Our family loved the days and will stay again.
