About this villa rental
Villa de Terre et de Mer welcomes you for 8 to 10 people, just 800 m from Pont Mahé beach, a 10-minute walk from the house. The house is equipped with 4 bedrooms, a mezzanine, two bathrooms, two separate toilets, a large living room, with a new equipped kitchen, as well as a large garage to store your car or bicycles if necessary.
This 180 m2 house has a secure, private swimming pool on its 500 m2 plot, treated with salt water (available from mid-May to the end of September). The land is fenced and equipped with all the necessary garden furniture to enjoy the sunny days.
The villa also has an indoor spa area for 5 people (available from October to mid-May).
The Villa is located between the town of Assérac and Pénestin, located on a Natura 2000 site. You can also discover the famous seaside resorts of La Baule, Piriac sur mer, La Turballe, Guérande and the salt tides and visit the Golf du Morbihan. There is no shortage of activities between swimming, hiking, visiting, you can also do kite surfing at the school which is located near the house, as well as paddle, fishing on foot. The Pénestin tourist office welcomes you to give you all the necessary information if necessary for your activities. In terms of gastronomy, come and taste the mussels of Pénestin registered as part of the cultural heritage of France, and also other Breton specialties. We also provide a ping pong table, darts, petanque ball, shuffleboard, molkki, and games for children (board game book, and a second TV for children in the mezzanine. The shops are a 7-minute drive from our accommodation.

Beautiful clean house, great communication with owners, close to beach with local bar and beach front restaurant. Close to pretty towns and beaches along coast line. Issue with brochure description but owner clarified translation issue however it meant us buying a blow up bed for one of the teenagers to sleep on

We were a family of six - grandparents, our son and daughter-in-law and their two little girls, aged 4 and 1 (her second birthday was during our stay). The house worked well for us, as we had the ground floor bedroom and shower room, and our son and his family had the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom. The house was very modern, with a nice terrace for eating outside, and a lovely pool. It also had a play area for children and lots of games etc to entertain them. My only comment would be if you had a mobile child under two, the stairs might be a bit tricky, as they were open at the bottom, and nowhere obvious to attach a stair gate. Our youngest grandchild was ok, as she would usually wait for an adult to help her down the stairs, but we did have to keep an eye on her.
We had stayed in the area before, so we knew the children would enjoy the beaches, the wildlife/bird park at Branfere, the aquarium at Le Croisic, and we also discovered Suscinio Castle for the first time,which was amazing. You can walk to Pont Mahe beach, or drive to the beach at Mine d’Or, which had more facilities, including a great ice cream place, which was very popular with the youngsters. My husband and I would also recommend the restaurant Les Pieds dans L’Eau, which served lovely food, great service, and the added benefit that it was in walking distance.
The owner, Delphine could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful, and responded to communications very promptly. Highly recommend.
