Beautiful and spacious Edwardian home by the seaside

We stayed over Christmas and couldn’t have asked for a better home for the holidays. The house is spacious and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen that made cooking easy. It felt very homely and was beautifully decorated, with lots of character and lovely period features. Alex was exceptional - so kind, generous and genuinely thoughtful. She brought in our grocery shopping when we had to check in late and went above and beyond to help us settle in. Even leaving a present under the tree for our 3yr old!We couldn’t recommend Alex and her home highly enough and would love to return.

The house was beautifully decorated comfortable and large. My family needed a large place to stay for my mums funeral.Alex responded quickly to all questions and the location was within walking distance to shops restaurants and the beach.

Our family had the absolute pleasure of staying in this beautiful home over Christmas, and it was nothing short of perfect. The attention to detail in the interiors is outstanding—every room is thoughtfully designed and beautifully finished. As this is a home where a family of five usually lives, it’s equipped with absolutely everything you could possibly need, making it feel both luxurious and welcoming.Our 3-year-old was in heaven, especially with the wonderful toys in her room—she spent hours happily playing. To top it off, the house was gorgeously decorated for Christmas, and the host even left a wrapped gift under the tree for her—a sweet Jellycat-style toy that was such a thoughtful touch.The kitchen is a chef’s dream! It boasts a huge cooker with three ovens and nine burners, and it’s fully stocked with every utensil, pan, and gadget you could imagine. We cooked lots of festive meals during our stay, and the kitchen made it all a joy.The location is perfect: just a 10-minute walk to the sea and only 5 minutes to Victoria Park, which has a fantastic playground. The host even let us borrow a scooter and helmet for our daughter, which was incredibly helpful as we couldn’t fit ours in the car.The house itself is warm, cosy, and full of character. There are two log burners—one in the dining area and one in the living room—which made for lovely evenings by the fire. The cast iron radiators kept the house wonderfully warm! Can’t recommend enough! We loved it!
