The house:
The apartment has everything for a long stay - a fully equipped kitchen, big living room, awesome terrace. It is situated on the second floor of a family house, and takes the whole floor. It was very clean, spacious and the hosts were very kind. Each room has a small balcony and the living room has a big terrace with a table and chairs for an awesome breakfast.
The hosts:
We had perfect communication with the hosts. We called them and asked to move in a bit earlier, we were met by the host at 2pm and given some advice about the city, food places and beaches. Also the hosts are very helpful and quick to respond. When we had some issues with turning the hot water boiler on a Saturday morning at 9am, we called the host and he sent his son to help us.
The place:
The apartment is quite close to a big supermarket and the sea. Not that close to the city center, but the walk along the sea is nice. The area is very quiet and safe for late evening walks. A good bonus is that we had no problem with parking our 2 cars on the street in front of the house.
The only thing to consider is the second bedroom bed - it is squeaky and when one person turns, the other one wakes up.

Niko und seine Frau wohnen in der Wohnung über dieser Wohnung und sind super herzlich und waren immer für uns da. Der hochmoderne Kühlschrank war bei unserer Ankunft gefüllt mit Wasser, Eiswürfeln, Kühlelementen und einer riesigen halben Wassermelone. Wenn wir etwas brauchten oder ein Problem hatten, hat sich Niko umgehend gekümmert. Nikos Frau hat uns mehrfach mitbekocht und so hatten wir leckeres herzhaftes Gebäck. Ich habe selten so herliche liebe Gastgeber erlebt.
Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig hat einen großen Balkon und ist mit vielem ausgestattet. Das WLAN ist gut, der Fernseher ist im Netz und man kann die bekannten Streaming-Anbieter nutzen (für die man natürlich den eigenen Account verwenden muss). Die Betten sind ziemlich bequem. Im Bad gibt es eine luxoriös aussehende Badewanne.
Die Lage ist in einer normalen Stadtgegend und weder im modernen Zentrum, noch in der Altstadt. So war kein Trubel von Bewohnern oder Touristen und unser Auto hatte immer einen Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus. Der Fußweg zum Supermarkt und zum Meer braucht vielleicht 10 Minuten.
Die Lampen sind teilweise grell kalt-weiß, wie ich es oft aus südlichen Ländern kenne. Das ist am Abend nicht so schön. Hier empfiehlt sich ein eigenes Tischlicht.
Viele Gegenstände (Geschirr) in der Küche sind offenbar lange nicht verwendet worden und waren schon angestaubt. Das konnten wir in den vielen Fällen durch den Geschirrspüler beheben oder haben es dann nicht verwendet.
Das Bad ist innenliegend und hat kein Fenster, sondern nur eine Lüftung. Das Bad ist sehr flach, weswegen es auch keine Dusche sondern die Badewanne gibt.
Die Gestaltung des Wohnzimmers ist mehr barrock als der schlichte Ikea-Stil - aber das ist ja wirklich Geschmackssache und ist auf den Fotos auch schon zu sehen.
