The hosts were absolutely wonderful. So kind & friendly. I felt so safe & looked after. They made my stay perfect in every way. The local food which was prepared for me was delicious. The boat trip at sunset incredible. We communicated through a translator app which worked really well, I felt so grateful to meet such kind, warm & generous people.

Words cannot explain how special this place is and how much my partner and I enjoyed our stay. Danilo and his dog/assistant Leo made our stay welcoming and easy. Danilo is so kind and he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.
The property is located right next to the lake and Danilo kindly lent us a kayak for exploring the area. There is so much wildlife to take in—from tortoises to dragonflies to horses!
The cabin itself exceeded our expectations. It was nice and cool during the heat and there was olive oil, coffee, some other cooking essentials and a great assortment of beverages waiting for us. Danilo and his son Ivan sorted a lunch and dinner delivery for us prepared by a local chef. The food was a 10/10 with big portions and fresh ingredients.
We can’t wait to come back and visit Danilo and Leo again!

We were looking for a place close to the airport, and luckily we found this hidden gem! We only stayed for one night, but I honestly wish we had spent our whole Montenegro vacation here. This place is truly heaven on earth — even the photos don’t do it justice.
There are no other settlements nearby; it’s peacefully located right by the lake, where you can also take a canoe out. The house has everything you might need and feels perfectly cozy. The lovely dog Leo and his friends are super friendly and protective, which made us feel even more at home.
And finally, a huge thank you to our amazing host, Danilo. He’s the perfect owner — incredibly friendly, thoughtful, and went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. If I ever come back to Montenegro, I wouldn’t think twice — I’d stay here again for sure! 💛
