The Resort was really nice and a perfect location to all the shopping entertainment and restaurants.
The weather was excellent.
I enjoyed spending my 70th birthday there.

I will start with the positive. The condo unit was clean, comfortable, well stocked, and in a great location. The complex itself was cute and quaint with a great Hawaiian vibe. Unfortunately, the weather was poor during our visit so our pool time was limited, but it was a peaceful area with a nice covered hot tub that we used. The negative, and the sole reason I will not rent this unit again…..the property contact, Gayle. I will start by saying I have rented countless properties throughout the country everywhere from the Hawaiian Islands to Florida. I have always had great, respectful communication with the owners/managers and have never had an issue, so the rudeness and treatment I experienced this time was really disappointing. I sent an email to Gayle a few days before we departed. I had a basic question about extra bedding in the unit, as my travel companion is always cold. I also asked if it would be possible to check in at 2 p.m., and I added if it's not possible for cleaning purposes I completely understand. I’ll note, it specifically states on Evolve to inquire with your guest host about early check-in/late check-out. I’ll also state, I never expect to be able to check in early. Here nor there, my email was never answered. I went ahead and packed an extra blanket, so we were covered, and I figured I’d call Gail when we arrived to see if checking in early was an option. When we arrived, I called Gail, and the call was immediately disconnected. I attempted to call again, and the same thing happened. 10 seconds later I received a text from Gail “can I help you”. So, basically, she hung up on me….twice, so I could not talk to her directly. I replied to her text with my name & why I was contacting her, and from there it ended in a nasty chain of text communication from her that put a damper on my trip before it even started. I shutter to think what would have happened if I had needed something fixed or had another question while we were there. My understanding is that Gayle is not the property owner, which is unfortunate. I hate putting a blemish on their record for her behavior. If the property owner would like to contact me directly, I will happily provide them with a copy of my email correspondence as well as the text message chain, so they can see the full communication.
