Escape from reality to this heaven of walks, lakes, and enchanting countryside. Malton Town Centre is just up the road and has recently been crowned the Food Capital of Yorkshire for its array of eateries, including quaint cafes, bustling bars, and extravagant restaurants.
You are a short drive away from York City Centre, Flamingo Land, the Coast, Castle Howard and so much more, not to mention the beautiful surrounding villages and country pubs which encompass the area and lead you on your way to the Yorkshire Dales! Making this the perfect retreat for couples, families, and friends. The Lodge is situated on a Lakeside Plot on the park, meaning you have fantastic uninterrupted views across Kingfisher Lake.

Our lodge features an open layout kitchen that comes equipped with an integrated fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and gas oven grill. Enjoy home-cooked meals at the dining table that comfortably sits 4 people.
Relax in the cosy living area, which includes a 2-seater sofa bed and 2 swivel armchairs. On chilly nights, cosy up by the electric fireplace and watch your favourite shows on our 55-inch smart TV. And if you have your own streaming device, simply plug it in via the HDMI port for even more entertainment options.
Step out onto the decking through the large patio doors in the living area, and enjoy the beautiful view of Kingfishers Lake. Our outdoor area features low-maintenance yet comfortable furniture for your use, so you can relax and soak up the sun.
Retreat to one of our two bedrooms. The master bedroom features a comfortable king-size bed with firm orthopaedic pillows and an en suite bathroom with a bathtub, dressing table, and full-size wardrobe. The second bedroom has two single beds, a wardrobe, and a mirror for your convenience.
Our lodge also features a spacious main bathroom with a large shower for your comfort and convenience.

We were blown away with this lodge, the cleanliness, the thoughful decor, the comfort, and how well equipped it is. The location is great, it's so beautiful sitting outside watching the lake. Everything is very accessable, my elderly grandmother managed the stairs fine, the shower was great for her to get in and out of. Beds are comfortable and so are the chairs and sofa. Lovely touch having the tv in the double room too! There's more I could say, all positive. We will be back, thank you for having us.

We stayed at the property for one night as we had been visiting flamingo land. We arrived late, around 6.20pm and were pleased that the check in and access to both the park and the property were nice and easy.
Very pleased with the location of the lodge, overlooking the lake, the cleanliness and the communication with the owner prior. Will return.

My family found the lodge to be clean and tidy. The only negative experience was the lack of consistent wifi connection. The connection was very unstable which meant that we were unable to watch any streaming services. I am not sure if this was a issue with the Lodge or with how the site organised its wifi provision.
