First, we are from the US, so our expectations of size and such are different. Also, we think of "First Floor" as the bottom floor - which is not true in the UK. This property is on the second floor for Americans! The stairs are narrow and pose a little challenge with large suitcases.Overall, our family of 5 really enjoyed this property, and it was a fantastic base of operations for us to spend time in different parts of London. Walking to the tube - Turnpike Lane - was quick and easy. There are many restaurants and grocery stores within easy walking distance. We baked quite a few pizzas, but that is most of the cooking we did other than microwaving things. Kitchen is small but functional.The property itself is in good condition. Smaller than we expected, but likely that is common to London. We had a few minor issues early on, but the property owner quickly stepped in to make things right.Overall, a good place to stay and worked well for our family of 5. Would stay here again!

Bright, tasteful accommodation complete to the last detail. I had a lovely peaceful stay in London. I enjoyed walking en route to buses and tube. I rode to my central London destinations like a Brit! and easily. My host was always available for questions.
