Shutters is a beautifully furnished, tranquil and private holiday home ideally located for touring the area and which offers a unique combination of countryside, city life and historical sites. The famous open-air living museum of Beamish is a short walk away. Fabulous holiday location, ideal for walkers, cyclists and golfers and National Trust members or those looking for a restful break.

This is a beautiful luxurious place to stay with everything you can possibly need and lovely gardens to sit in. It is completely private which we like. It is a fantastic location with Beamish Museum two minutes away by car and the Angel of the North ja very short drive away. Plenty of pubs nearby serving great food. Andrea leaves a very nice welcome pack which was much appreciated and she was always quick to reply to any questions I had. If we were ever to come back to this area, which is a long way from us, we would not hesitate to stay here again.
