We have stayed here before & were staying here again for a family celebration with family living in Cavendish. Proximity to my sister’s house & the accommodation & especially the bar staff on duty that day who were so helpful when our daughter’s booking at The George went ‘ a bit wrong ‘ was very much appreciated as there were young children to cater for. The staff were so helpful & brilliant so thankyou !
Value for money I thought. At least this time the Church Bells didn’t ring through the night as they had on a previous occasion 😐

Good location, very friendly staff. Room clean and tidy.
Shower was without a curtain and water floods the bathroom. No floorwiper to clear the water. Hot water takes ages to reacht the tap. Toilet not flushing very well. The price for four nights booked through Booking.com was reasonable but an extra night booked on the spot for GBP 90 is too expensive for the room. We had higher expectations because of other reviews and the high rating.
