About this house rental

Located in Pompei, this welcoming vacation home brings it all within your reach. There's convenient onsite parking, so you can leave your vehicle behind and let your feet make short work of the 11-minute walk to Shrine of the Virgin of the Rosary of Pompei or the 13-minute walk to Pompei Amphitheatre. If you're looking to expand your horizons and see other nearby locales, you can catch a train at Pompei Station, a short 7-minute walk away.

After you return, you can unwind in the garden or sip a drink on the deck or patio. For a change of scenery, come inside and enjoy the free WiFi and cable/satellite TV.

The daughter of the host was there when we arrived and helped up get settled into the rental, which was very helpful. The rental was clean and nice, although a little cramped. Good for one, or two, people. Nice bathroom. Wish there had been an easy way to make a cup of coffee in a.m. to get going. We were not familiar with the antique looking coffee press thing. Nice base for exploring Pompeii. Quiet area.

We stayed there in order to see the ruins in Pompeii and climb Mount Vesuvius. The location was an easy walk to one of the entrances to the ruins (just behind the lovely cathedral called Santuario della Beata Vergine Maria del Santo Rosario). We found an agent to take us to Vesuvius quite easily from near the ruins. The hosts were super kind and easy to reach by cell phone, and let us in several hours before we said we would come, and even more hours before the actual check in time. Eugenio does not speak English (Francy does) but google translate made it work. A charming area of Pompeii - the star jasmine along the road had the most wonderful aroma - and everything was clean and worked well.
