Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der liebevoll restaurierten und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Windmühle. Die Übergabe war unkompliziert und freundlich. Wir haben uns auch sehr über einen gekühlten Wein und Wasser im Kühlschrank zur Begrüßung gefreut. Außerdem gab es eine Erstausstattung an Nespresso-Kaffeekapseln. Ganz lieben Dank 😘
Eingerichtet ist die Windmühle im Untergeschoß mit einer kleinen Küchen- und Sitzecke (Kühlschrank, Nespresso Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Spülbecken) und einer Abtrennung für Dusche/WC. Das Waschbecken aus Marmor und die Armaturen aus Messing sind sehr geschmackvoll und hochwertig.
Im Obergeschoss befindet sich die Schlafmöglichkeit (Futonbett) mit TV und Safe. Im Freien ist eine Sitzgelegenheit, Sonnenstühle und Liegen vorhanden (schöne Holzmöbel). Handtücher und Bettwäsche waren vorhanden.
Die Villa Windmill befindet sich in der Nachbarschaft auf dem gleichen Areal, das sehr schön mit einem großen Baum, Feigenbaum, Strelizien, Eukalyptus und Gräsern angelegt ist. Parkmöglichkeiten sind direkt vor dem mit RFID Card gesicherten Eingang vorhanden. Es gibt zudem einen Wäscheständer zum Trocknen der Badekleidung.
Zum Meer (Kies- und Sandstrand) sind es nur wenige Schritte und nach Kos Stadt ist man in ca. 20 – 30 Minuten zu Fuß unterwegs.

excellent reinterpretation of a mill with all it takes to compete with the best hotels. Pleasant patio to enjoy sunrise and sunset in tranquility. Close to the beach, supermarkets and restaurant. Everything that you need is just 3 minutes away.
It was all close to perfection, just few things that can be improved. For the kitchen, it will be helpful to have a cooker, or something similar, and all the items required for the cleaning of the kitchen itself

In May, I visited this charming windmill and was immediately impressed by the exceptional care put into both the exterior and interior. Every detail, no matter how small, was executed with love and craftsmanship. The result? A unique blend of historic character and modern engineering that makes you feel welcome from the very first moment.
Structure & Safety
The walls are 1.20 meters thick, providing not only character but also a surprising sense of security. During my stay, I felt a distant earthquake—the structure moved slightly but showed no cracks or damage whatsoever. A reassuring sign that historic beauty can go hand-in-hand with modern seismic safety.
Living Comfort
Inside, the space is cozy and designed for two guests. The compact kitchen and bathroom area offers everything you need: a fridge, sink, coffee and tea facilities, and a neat shower. Note: there is no stove, so plan for light meals or dine out. The thick walls let in little daylight, but they keep the space pleasantly cool—perfect for waking up or drifting off to sleep.
Outdoor Living
What the windmill lacks in indoor space is generously made up for by the spacious terrace. Two sun loungers, a table, and chairs provide a wonderful outdoor setting. As the sun moves across the sky, you can always find a shady spot to relax. Enjoy breakfast in the morning sun, read a book in the afternoon breeze, and gaze at the stars at night—it’s all possible.
Surroundings
While not completely isolated, the area is generally quiet. In the morning, you may hear some soft noise from a nearby car rental company cleaning vehicles. Later in the day, you might hear children playing at a school playground further away. Once a week, the beautiful church bells ring from about half a kilometer away—pleasant and not at all disturbing. The neighbors are friendly and respectful of the peace.
