Lovely hosts, easy to find property, not far from the motorway, (but with no motoroway noise), everything clean and almost everything new, very quiet area and lovely to have a garden.

The property advertises private parking on site and there was garage parking but it was under the house and entered by quite a steep slope, however this is in a very quiet area and the property is in a very quiet cul-de-sac, so parking on the street outside the property was very easy and felt safe even with a loaded car.

Very clean, everything felt newly finished, really good sized kitchen and well equipped. Only place in France we have found that has really good sized coffee mugs. (Brits will understand this) The apartment is a brilliant size and very comfortable, UK news channels available on TV which is unusual but very welcome. Great garden space for dogs. Plentiful free parking in the courtyard and very secure. We booked last minute but comms were excellent and clear Excellent stopping point on main link road to Calais, only an hour from Le Tunnel, would stay again.

If I was being really critical I’d say there was a slight smell of tobacco in the apartment, as if perhaps someone had smoked in it before which was a shame as it’s beautifully presented Garden for dogs is large and very welcome but a gate on the entrance would be welcome as we had to keep watching the dogs that they didn’t run out to the parking area.

Das Appartement ist hell und freundlich eingerichtet und bietet alles, was man erwartet. In der Küche fanden wir in ausreichendem Maße Geschirr, Besteck und weitere nützliche Utensilien. Auch an Babies und Kleinkinder wurde gedacht. Die Wohnung ist gut angelegt und neu oder frisch renoviert, wodurch ein guter, moderner Standard geboten ist. Wir hatten bewusst eine Unterkunft nicht ganz zentrumsnah gewählt. Es war deshalb wunderbar ruhig, zudem man in einen Hinterhof einfährt, um sie zu erreichen, wo dann auch das Auto sicher geparkt werden kann. In der näheren Umgebung sind mehrere Bäckereien, ein Supermarchée, Tankmöglichkeit und ein Bahnhof. Die Kommunikation mit Gwenaelle und Cyrille war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Das Appartement empfehlen wir gerne weiter!!
