We liked that there were two bathrooms, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Everything was clean, and we were surprised by how quiet it was with an apartment overhead.
We didn’t plan to eat meals in the house, but we did want tea or coffee occasionally. There is a coffee pot, but no tea kettle. We tried to heat water on the stove, and it took almost an hour to bring it to a boil. The burners on the stove are not functioning—at least now well enough to cook a meal with any of the lovely utensils that are provided.

The place was immaculate! Cozy and charming. I didn't realize that the apt was dog friendly until I walked in and saw the dog bowls. I'm very smell sensitive, and I didn't want to smell any lingering dog scent ( which was my bad for not realizing this before hand) but I didn't smell dog at ALL! The blankets were all clean, the floors free of sand and the carpeting in the rooms were so soft! The walk to the beach was a few blocks to the left ( best walkable beach access) and to the right (steep stair way to hell/ or heaven depeding on your direction) and the apt had more amenities than I expected!
The neighbors upstairs were respectful of the quiet hours but were really heavy footed, especially above both the bedrooms. We didn't hear them really anywhere else in the apt but above the rooms it sounded like elephants from time to time. There was a problem with the stove not reaching a full boil but they quickly responded about coming to fix it the next day and checked in a couple of times, asking how the stay was going. These things aside, I'll still definitely be staying here again.

Nice remodel. Comfortable beds.
Uneven floors and difficult transitions which were difficult for my 80+ year old father. Access to the beach was close but very steep stairs. Hot tub was listed but not accessible. We weren’t able to check in until 6:00pm on the day we arrived.
