- The location is fantastic - very central, easy to get everywhere on foot
- Spacious, light and clean, with comfortable beds
- Our older teens loved the loft space
- One bedroom is up an almost vertical ladder. This is unsuitable/dangerous for younger children, anyone who can’t climb a ladder or who needs the bathroom during the night. This should be made clear in the description and it isn’t.
- Great that dishwasher tablets are provided but please also provide washing up liquid. We didn’t want to buy a bottle for just a 2 night stay, and it’s not environmentally friendly to use the dishwasher for just a few items. This has always been provided everywhere else we have stayed

Location, right in the city centre
Clean apartment
Despite the apartment being cozy and clean, being in an old building brings a lot of defficiencies.
Firstly, the windows. Old style, wooden frame windows do not allow insulation, therefore the (cold) wind is literally blowing in the room. As the heating/radiators cannot be individually controlled, you can expect low temperature in the apartment. Despite rising the issue with the agency managing the apartment, their answer was: "I apologize. Our team is not able to take any action at the moment, but after checking with them, they informed me that the issue has been reported to the building owner to see if he can move forward with a project to replace the windows throughout the building.🥺"
As a countermeasure, i asked the agency to provide an external heater, but this was also rejected: "According to our team, the heating system should be sufficient to warm the apartment. 🙏"
Secondly, bathroom and hallway are not equipped with radiators. So expect low temp when going in for a shower or whatever. By the way, there is no shower cabin so wet floor all over bathroom. Use existing shower curtain at your own risk.
Our apartment was on 3rd floor with no elevator available. Carrying luggage might be challenging, especially for elder people; stairs are inclined so elder people need good grip
Also, considering the number of fans inside the apartment, i would say that its close to impossible to stay during summer time, as there is no air conditioning.
If you can disregard these major deficiencies, booking this apartment could be an option if you are Wim Hof type.
The only positive is location. But beware there is construction site right in front of the building so expect early morning motivation to wake up.
