This is a very nice property, well designed and nicely decorated. We were made very welcome with a bottle of sparkly and a box of biscuits. The kitchen was a really nice size and it was easy to prepare food for a group of 6 people. There was plenty of room for people to mingle or go their own way. The bedrooms were very nice with comfortable beds and bedding. I would like to come back.
Nothing really. The only thing is the trains that run, which actually we should have expected because that was explained in the description. But we did not find them a nuisance.

- Good shower & bath
- Lovely walks nearby
- Stunning views
- Old timely looking outside
- Modern inside
- Good heating system
- The trains run all through the night and shake the whole house (luckily this only work the adults)
- We may have been unlucky, but the place was full of midgies so we did get bitten
- The front door was very hard to open from both the inside and outside, but we just used the back often.
- As this is a pet friendly holiday, as we don’t have pets, we noticed how covered in dog hair our clothes became from sitting on the sofa/caroets
