Located within the tranquil hamlet of Aisby this tastefully renovated detached stone barn is the perfect choice for a wonderful family holiday.. 1 step to entrance.

This property has a security deposit of £250.. Retaining many of its original features, it provides accommodation which is predominantly on the ground floor and has the benefit of its own private walled garden and patio area with a gated entrance. For anyone wishing to relax and unwind, a wood burner and underfloor heating makes it suitable for year round breaks, and a lovely country pub, with beams, log fires, fine real ales and delicious food, is only a 15-minute stroll away. There are plenty of lovely country walks straight from the doorstep and the quiet country lanes make cycling a real pleasure in the surrounding area.
For those wishing to explore a little further afield, Lincoln, Stamford, Newark, Oakham and Uppingham offer antique centres, National Trust houses, castles and museums, and numerous pubs and restaurants abound to cater for all tastes. Those interested in WWII can visit the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and the Lincolnshire Aviation Centre, both only a short drive away. There are numerous golf courses nearby including the National Golf Centre at Woodhall Spa. Rutland Water also offers various water sports throughout the year, and the circular track around the reservoir provides walking and cycling for all ages with bikes available for hire on-site. Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
A security deposit of £250 is payable to the owner 7 days prior to arrival and it will be returned in full subject to satisfactory check out inspection within 48 hours of depature. Couples and family groups only.

We are a family of 3 generations and a dog, (from 2hr+ north & south of location) who spent Xmas week here. It is the 4th time we have rented to spend Xmas together, and this was the best equipped of them all..... we had 2 more family members join us for Xmas Day, & the hosts kindly brought us extra dining chairs.
Overall, the property was very spacious, but warm (with underfloor heating, & a log fire); beautifully decorated, comfortably furnished, and spotlessly clean.
The hosts were extremely friendly & helpful (eg. in obtaining a taxi for Xmas eve, local info, etc.)
The rural location was peaceful and good for walks, & we enjoyed 2 excellent meals at the Houblon Arms, (15 mins walk). The phone signal & WiFi were not the greatest, (for some phones) but a small sacrifice for such a good find!
