It’s a beautiful property with stunning views of the sunrise and sunset. It is only about a 45 min drive to Pisa and an hour and 40 minute drive to Florence so the location is good and the nearest supermarket is not too far either. Everything was as described in the listing and it’s even more spacious than we thought. We had a group or 9 people and it didn’t feel crowded at all. In fact at times sometimes you had to go searching to find where everyone was because there were so many rooms. It was well stocked with bathroom and kitchen essentials. There was even a beverage fridge downstairs and a small ice maker. They also provided us with towels for the pool and there were plenty of extra blankets. The host communicated well both before and during the stay and answered all my questions quickly. It was quiet around the house and really peaceful at night time. The hill to get up to the property is quite steep but we had SUVs, which had no problem getting up and there is ample parking in front of the house. We didn’t need the a/c at night but it was a nice option to cool the house down when it got a little too warm during the day if we were home. I would definitely stay at this property again.

This isn’t a dislike or the fault of the property but something to be aware of: though we cleaned up after cooking, we did get some ants in the kitchen near the stove, but were told that is typical in a country home. They had ant poison already available and once we put that down it cleared right up and we never had any again. Also toward the end of our stay there was rain and the pipes seemed to struggle a little so sometimes water spurted out hard from the kitchen faucet and the shower water went a little murky for one person’s shower but then it all basically reset itself by the end of the day. Some of the guest beds were a little hard but still comfortable enough that we all slept quite well especially being out in the fresh country air.

Een prachtig authentiek huis. De ligging is bijzonder mooi, heerlijk zwembad wat elke dag wordt schoongemaakt. Veel ruimte en een fijn terras boven.

De bedden zijn slecht. Voor de prijs mogen er wel betere matrassen komen.
