About this villa rental
Very beautiful air-conditioned Provençal villa of 260 m2 with 5 bedrooms (10 adults), three bathrooms, (including one bedroom, living room with sofa bed for 2 children, kitchen, bathroom in an independent apartment of 42 M2 ). All rooms are equipped with a television.
Heated swimming pool (from May to October) of 100 M2 and 1.50 m deep, with complete Pool house: garden furniture, dining table, fully equipped kitchen/bar, wood/pizza oven, large gas barbecue, shower, wc , dishes etc.
Private tennis court with night lighting, lighted pétanque court, badminton, basketball hoop. Ping Pong table in the basement.
Superb fully equipped 20m2 rotisserie (2 meter vertical chimney, 30kg electric spit, sink, American fridge, etc.).
Fully fenced property of 7,500 M2, located on top of a hill, with panoramic views. The garden is planted with many Mediterranean species, decorated with numerous stone walls. It has a magnificent Koi Carp pond, and a beautiful olive grove. Night lighting of the whole property.
Large basement/garage, laundry room with washing machine and dryer.
Leisure: tennis, basketball, badminton, ping-pong, pétanque, Nantes shuffleboard, board games, poker mats, dice strip, scrabble, DVDs, books...
The rental includes cleaning, bed linen, towels and bath towels for 12 people.
Carcès: many shops open all year round, including an Intermarché 600 m from the property, but also restaurants and quality craftsmen: old oil mill, wine cooperative, wine and olive-growing estates, etc. Many villages and sites nearby (Cotignac, Sillans la Cascade, Entrecasteaux, Lorgues, Salerno, Thoronet Abbey). Provencal markets all year round in 5 nearby villages.
1 hour from the seaside (Saint Raphaël, Sainte Maxime, Saint Tropez…), 1 hour from Aix en Provence, Marseille and Cannes, 1 hour from the Gorges du Verdon, the Lac de Sainte Croix (rental of electric boats and canoes)...

We are a family with two adults and seven kids (age 14-21) who spent a fantastic week at the Villa La Michaudière! Both the house and the property are very well maintained and have a lot of space both to be active and to relax.
The house has spacious and delicate arranged rooms. Air-condition and Wi-Fi are well functioning. The kitchen at the house and the one at the pool, is well equipped. The woodfired pizza oven was great! The bedrooms were all nice and with comfortable, big beds. Bathrooms were also clean, delicate and functional.
The tennis court had all the equipment needed, and lights, so we had a double tournament in the evening. It also had a basketball hoop in the corner, that my son used every day. The pool was clean and the pool area beautiful.
A well assorted Supermarche was a 2 min drive and the town centre of Carces not far away. We also went cliffjumping in the Caramy falls, 10-15 min drive from the house. The house is within reach to many places, but we had such a great time at the house, that we mainly stayed there!
The house is situated at a hilltop, with view almost all around, but no insight from neighbours. It is a great feeling sitting on the kitchen terrace and watch flowers, olive trees and cypresses in the garden sway in the breeze, with view to the valley and horizon too.
Throughout the week both Bertrand, the owner, and Esther, the co-host, were available, had suggestions what to do and let us feel welcome to this wonderful house!

Villa La Michaudière in Carcès surpassed all our expectations - a luxurious retreat.
The property is very generous in dimensions and equipment. We thoroughly enjoyed the morning tennis as well as the great times at the pool with its fully equipped kitchen and pizza oven.
All the rooms are spacious, newly renovated and tastefully decorated for the villa’s elegant charm. The air conditioning kept us cool with the hot temperatures.
We used the living room as a large working space with big table and seating area. There is great internet connectivity throughout the whole property.
Carcès and the surrounding area are truly of divine beauty and ideally situated to explore the region.
Lastly, Myriam and Bertrand are magnificent, generous people that made us feel very welcome throughout our stay.
