Private parking and easy access. Clear instructions for check in. I'm sure that if the weather was nicer we would have loved to have our meals out on the porch. The place itself was cozy and had that beach vibe. Walking distance to UCSD is a big plus for visiting prospective students, parents of students or alumni like myself to drown in nostalgia.
We couldn't figure out the TV, but it wasn't too big of a problem since it would have been used for some background noise anyway.
The bathroom was pretty small and the sliding doors seemed to offer little privacy.

Great location.
The room was located at the rear of the building, and there were no lights in this area. Also, there was one washcloth and two towels. The dishes were incomplete with no teaspoons and no saucers. We were unable to use the grill, as it had not been cleaned.
