Mimosa Cottage, which has a 3 star rating plus a Gold Award with VisitEngland, is a spacious detached bungalow situated in Studland , a quiet unspoilt village partially owned by the National Trust. The Cottage is in an ideal location for the sandy safe bathing beaches, and beautiful countryside. Studland is set in a National Nature Reserve, is in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is part of the Purbeck Heritage Coast, and a gateway to the Jurassic Coast World Heritage. Golfers will enjoy the Isle of Purbeck Golf Course 5 minutes drive away which has an 18-hole and 9-hole course, both with stunning views over Poole Harbour. The Arne Reserve, and Brownsea Island will be of interest to ornithologists.

It was a delightful property set in a lovely private garden very close to all the amenities like the village shop and pubs. Also a very good bus service close by. Everything you could possibly need for your holiday stay was included in the cottage. The beds were extremely comfortable with lovely sheets and duvet covers. We were extremely lucky with the weather too and spent hours on the beach which was within walking diistance. The only complaint I had was that we could not stay longer😊!

We had an excellent weeks holiday at Mimsoa cottage! The location with young kids was amazing- the beach on the doorstep, a local shop and a few pubs!
The cottage itself it fully equipped with everything you need with young children! Which made the holiday so much more relaxing and stress free!
We loved it that much we’ll be back!
