Great location! Walkable to the Dampoort train station for day trips to Antwerp and Bruges. Nice breakfast café around the corner. Laundromat nearby. Perfect for exploring the main square and canals of Ghent. The property was clean and had a basic kitchen perfect for a few at home travel meals.
Sadly the noise…people on the street sounded like they were in the room with us! At one point I thought someone had accidentally entered our apartment. Our neighbours were not excessively noisy, but the noise did carry. This was really the only downfall. I mention it because it did interfere with sleep.

Spacious lounge area. Location was easy walking distance to the centre of town and the Friday markets.
The double bed was quite narrow. The couch was very worn, and the toilet had a bad smell due to some mould. There was also a fair bit of construction work in the area which meant some noise from about 6am, but no issues overnight.
