Enjoyed a 2 night stay here between Christmas and New Year. The Barn is perfect for two people looking for quality accommodation in the middle of Castleton with its facilities. Enjoyed a super meal at the 1530 Restaurant run by the same people. The bed was super comfy.
Could do with extra heat in the bathroom in Winter as the towel rail didn't really warm it up.

Whats not to like. Lovely accommodation situated in the centre of Castleton, with parking. The Barn was comfortable, clean and well equipped. Ideal base for a weekend of walking followed by a great meal in the 1530 restaurant.

Perfectly sized for a couple, very cosy, lovely attentive staff at the restaurant it’s above and an amazing meal. Would 100 percent recommend for a relaxing break with lots of amenities around
