After some 'communication difficulties' (because my phone's credit expired), the host came to find us in a local cafe and led us to the apartment, which is right in the centre of Nis with all local amenities and sightseeing within walking distance. The apartment itself was warm, clean and tidy with city views and all 'home' appliances including a large-screen TV, kitchen and washing machine, and we were given clear instructions on how to return the keys. Very good value too.
Some slight confusion about the address which caused us to go to the wrong location at first - but that could, possibly have been a sat-nav issue on our part. A couple of items in the apartment (cushions etc) showing some signs of wear-and-tear, but otherwise, hosts were more than helpful and accommodating.

Location was great and had private parking
The bathroom seemed not really clean and no mirrors in the apartment except for the little one in bathroom. Beds were really uncomfortable.
