About this apartment rental
The house is located in Ponton di Sant'Ambrogio Valpolicella, a quiet village at the foot of the Valpolicella. Valpolicella is a tourist area in the Verona hinterland, famous for its vineyards, olive groves, and the many wineries that characterize it. It is just a few kilometers from the romantic city of Verona and the beaches of Lake Garda, offering a 360-degree experience of the province of Verona.
The location between the lake and the mountains offers endless possibilities and experiences, excursions, and day trips. For example, there's a bus that can take your bikes up the mountain, and you just have to hop off!
The village has a couple of bars, pizzerias, a supermarket, a few restaurants, and even a barber shop. Ponton also has a large, recently renovated municipal swimming pool, surrounded by a beautiful green space, which offers many services and water activities at a low cost. Just a few minutes' drive away is the "Acquardes" Thermal Park, well-known for its thermal properties. The house, overlooking the river, is entirely on the ground floor. The garden is equipped with sun loungers and a barbecue. Villa Quaranta, an elegant Veronese residence complete with a thermal pool, is also just a few kilometers away. The Riovalli water park is also nearby, a fun place for both young and old.
A variety of sports are available, from paragliding to rafting on the Adige River, from water sports to rock climbing. Golf and minigolf are also available. Cycling and walking trails are well-marked throughout.

We enjoyed our stay in this apartment. Very clean and everything provided (except a hairdryer!!). It was near to the town of ba;rdolino, although a shortcut Via Santa Cristina by gate was always closed so it put an extra 10 minutes on our journey. The pool area was very clean and a nice atmosphere. We did ask for extra pillows (4) but they were not provided. We would recommend this apartment to any family. We hope to go back next year 2013 if it is available.
