This was a lovely place to stay! The apartment itself was clean and very private. We had everything we needed and Nadine was very friendly and helpful when we had questions. Also, we loved having access to the swimming pool after a day of sightseeing or shopping at the market in Uzes. It was about 10 kilometers to Uzes, which is a great town — big enough to have interesting restaurants, shops, and the market on Wednesdays and Saturdays; yet small enough that we had no trouble finding our way around. It was a longer drive to Pont du Gard, Arles, Avignon, and Nimes, but still definitely do-able in a day. Thank you, Nadine!

My husband and I made a last minute booking with Nadine for this truly charming gite, and it turned out to be the highlight of our trip. We were looking for a sweet, character-filled space in which to cook, be cozy and quiet, and close to lovely things to explore, and this apartment met all our desires, and more. It is located behind a lovely and large chateau, in a wonderfully quaint village. The pictures don't do the apartment, or the village justice. Nadine's husband welcomed us and gave us a thorough orientation to the flat, which he restored himself, and his pride of workmanship shows. It is a tasteful blend of historic (18th century farm building) and modern. We were able to keep it quite warm inside despite cold temps outside. The kitchen and outdoor grills were fully functional and well-stocked, and the jetted tub and huge bathroom were also excellent. It was quiet, perfectly clean, and just the right size for the two of us. We loved waking in the morning and looking out the bedroom windows over the old village buildings and into the natural landscape beyond. Upon checking out, we discovered a problem with the booking website, and Nadine was very helpful as we got it sorted. In all, a fabulous stay, one that we'd be glad to repeat should be ever find ourselves again in the Uzege.
