The house is 5 minutes walk from the village center, all the shops nearby, a gourmet restaurant and a pizzeria.

Hele goede tijd gehad in deze woning. Ideale locatie met perfect uitgeruste buitenkeuken wat een echte meerwaarde is aangezien je alles buiten voorhanden hebt (frigo, kookplaat, grill, microgolf, bbq,...) en wij gedurende ons ganse verblijf volledig buiten leefden want ook veel schaduwplekjes voorhanden. Zwembad ook top!

Un super cadre pour déconnecter du train train quotidien! La maison ainsi que le jardin sont très grand. Une piscine très agréable tant pour les adultes que pour les enfants

Samen met ons gezin en nog twee bevriende koppels en hun kinderen beleefden wij een super vakantie in dit verblijf. Wij waren in totaal met 6 volwassenen, 6 kinderen tussen 2 en 9 jaar oud en één baby.
Het boeken verliep vlekkeloos, en bij aankomst werden we verwelkomd door eigenares Jocelyne, die ons meteen een rondleiding gaf in het zeer ruime en huis. Het verblijf is opgedeeld in drie verschillende "appartementen", waardoor we met elk koppel toch de nodige privacy hadden. Elk "appartement" is voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt. Het meest verbleven we echter in de buitenkeuken, die vlakbij het zwembad gelegen is.
Na de rondleiding konden onze kinderen meteen genieten van het enorme zwembad en de vele speelmogelijkheden. Het zwembad was een aangename afkoeling tijdens deze hete week. In de voormiddag deden we telkens enkele uitstapjes in de buurt, waaronder ook het snoepjesmuseum, dat we op aanraden van Jocelyne bezochten. Dit was zeker eens de moeite waard.
In het naburige dorpje Vergèze bezochten we ook de "fêtes votive", waar de kinderen hun ogen uitkeken naar de stieren en de paarden.
Het huis in Uchaud vormt kortom een prima uitvalsbasis om bezienswaardigheden in de buurt te bezoeken of om gewoon wat uit te rusten / af te koelen in en bij het zalige zwembad.
Als kers op de taart konden we ook nog genieten van de heerlijke wijn die gemaakt werd door de zoon van Jocelyne. De vijf sterren zijn dus meer dan verdiend!
