We had a great stay in Carla‘s Apartment (the large one in second floor). It was super clean and had everything you need, the view from the big balcony is amazing! Carla was super friendly, gave us a lot of tips and asked all the time if everything was ok. Highly recommendable!!

We had a great stay in the appartamento blu (blue apartment) at Casa Tonelli in Malcesine. Carla and Paolo did their best to make us feel at home.
The blue apartment is a two-bedroom flat on the top (second) floor of a building with no lift. It was not an issue for us, but you might want to consider the first floor flat if you have mobility issues. The views were stunning! Sitting on the balcony gazing at the lake and mountains view was priceless.
The flat was very well furnished and equipped - lots of storage space and all you needed in the kitchen, including sharp knives. There were different types of cafetieres, but no kettle, as tea is not a typical Italian drink after all.
Malcesine town centre was a 10-minute walk from the flat, on the Lungolago promenade along the lake. Despite being a mere 2-minute walk from the via Gardesana, the busy road the goes from the south to the north of the lake, you could not hear any traffic noise.
There's a large supermarket, Eurospar, about 10 minutes from the flat. It is quicker to get there walking along the via Gardesana, instead of Lungolago.
There is free parking on the premises, which is an added bonus. However, if you are coming by car from the south, beware of the sharp right to access via Puri - it is a 90 degree turn and you won't be able to make it in one go. It is easier to go past the road, then turn back and access it from the north.
The price quoted includes everything, but the tourist tax demanded by the government, so check in advance what it is going to be to avoid surprises - it was only €7 for 2 people for 7 days.
Overall, we had a great time in Malcesine and would definitely go back.
