Warm and cosy cottage in the centre of Holt. Spacious with comfy beds and an enormous bath.
If you want to drink real coffee you'll need to take your own cafetière because there isn't one in the kitchen.

Nice cottage in a great location in lovely Holt. Spacious with nice courtyard garden. Attractive decor.
Summer duvet (4.5 tog) on main bed on a freezing February weekend. Just not acceptable. We asked the owner if we could have a thicker one and were told (without an apology) that as there were only two of us, that we should use the single duvets from the twin beds as well.
The shower is unusable and (as reported many times) is dangerous, cycling between freezing cold and scalding hot. The property should not be let again until this is fixed. There is a note advising not to use other appliances whilst using the shower. This makes absolutely no difference. It is broken.
Maybe a personal thing, but there is nothing to make coffee in - not even a cafetiere, which is unusual these days.
There are two "log burners". One is an electric fire and one is decorative. Something to be aware of if you're expecting a cosy evening in by the fire.

Really cozy and well appointed cottage, in a beautiful central location
It was all good, strange to have to bring our own towels but it was no problem
