This was our second time staying at Merseybank Apartments and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We booked a one bedroom apartment that included a balcony, lounge, kitchen and even a spa bath in the bathroom! The apartment was clean, spacious and the bed was comfortable. Location was perfect and we had beautiful views of the river from the balcony. On site undercover secure parking was a bonus and the host was very responsive. We highly recommend Merseybank Apartments and will be back again!

It was very central so we were able to find food easily and walk to local sights as well as shop. It did have an ocean view but we were expecting a front room location rather than the side - it was fine but if really wanting a full view I think it would be rooms 1 to 4. I could see the ocean from our balcony though.
We had room 6 and it was great as it was a one bedroom rather than a studio.
Hubby had one of the best pizza's he has ever had at Valentino's Family restaurant which is just a short walk, it was super busy and the other meals looked amazing.
The spa bath did not work.
The mattress was not super comfortable, it was ok but not as good as other places we stayed - we kind of rolled into each other. Not so bad that I would not stay again.

Great location close to supermarkets, eateries, restaurants, mall, foreshore and Spirit of Tasmainia ferry. Large 1 bedroom apartment with secure parking.
Sensor lighting in hallway kept flicking on when sitting in the very uncomfortable recliners, which gave us stiff necks and back soreness (would have preferred a couch). Wall mounted TV was too high to view comfortably. There was no floor lamp and the pot lights had to be on all the time even though half weren't working.
The bed was as hard as rock and although the bathroom was huge, it lacked a shower enclosure or curtain, allowing water to splash across entire bathroom floor. To add to this, the ceiling exhaust fan didn't work very well and floors became slippery due to excess condensation
