About this apartment rental
A self contained studio with own private entrance, great views overlooking the Wiltshire downs and the Cherill White Horse. A super king sized bed or 2 single beds if requested. There is an ensuite bathroom and small alcove with tea and coffee making facilities, Nespresso machine, small fridge and microwave oven (not proper kitchen). WiFi. Self Check In.
We will supply coffee, tea, milk, homemade bread or croissants, butter, jam, muesli, granola, yoghurt and fruit for breakfast.
We border onto the Bowood estate (Bowood House) which is a fabulous place to walk from our house, and we are close to many interesting places, Lacock National Trust village(6 miles), Avebury (8 miles), Devizes (7 miles), Marlborough(14 miles), Bath (20 miles), Malmesbury (17 miles) etc. Wiltshire is an ancient and historic area and is a great area to explore.
We are situated in the countryside with great views across open countryside to the Downs and the Cherhill White Horse. We are 1 mile from Calne where their are supermarkets, hotels, cafes, Italian and Indian restaurants, pizza and Costa.
For local food try; The George Inn, Sandy Lane The Westbrook Inn, Westbrook, The Bell, Lacock.
For lunch/ coffee... Divine on the Green, Calne.

Lovely stay, will definitely come back. Freshly baked bread or croissants was a lovely touch.Had a takeaway delivered. A real treat as we can't get that at home.

We spent two nights in this peaceful spot. The room had a lovely view out into the garden which was full of birds. On the last morning, getting up early, I saw two different deer herds in the fields beyond! The breakfast was good and had freshly baked bread. The location was close to Avebury which we’d wanted to visit.

The accommodation is lovely and i would definitely consider staying again. Dave and Susie were very good at communicating in advance and the check-in was simple. The annex itself is spacious, well laid out and very clean. There was a generous breakfast and some snacks, as well as homemade bread that was delicious. The garden was a nice space and would be great in the summer, as well as having wonderful views over farmland. I can't speak more highly of the whole rxperience.
