Upper Forge is a comfortable, two-bedroom property set over the first and second floor, sleeping up to four guests in total. It’s situated in Higher Town, Malborough.. First Floor:
Living/dining room: Smart TV, Sofa Bed (Double) (Flexible Sleeping Only)
Kitchen: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Dishwasher
Hallway: Fridge/Freezer, Washing Machine
Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet
Second Floor:
Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed
Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Highchair. On road parking; additional public car parking. No smoking.. Malborough is a beautiful small village nestled in the South Hams in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and only a stone’s throw (2 miles) from the holiday town of Salcombe and a handful of sandy beaches including North Sands, South Sands, Soar Mill Cove, Hope Cove, Thurlstone and South Milton.
Upper Forge is equally perfectly located for easy access to the South West Coast Path which offers fantastic coastal walks with stunning views over the rolling countryside and coast alike.
The village of Malborough itself has two pubs, which serve food. There is also a B&B which serves breakfast and holds tapas nights. The village has a supermarket (petrol station) and post office (with farm shop) for any amenities you may need to pick up for your stay. There are village playing fields which have tennis courts, a football pitch as well as a children’s playground and outside gym.
There’s also a cycle/footpath from Malbrough to Salcombe which has some stunning views of the surrounding countryside and can be found on the Sustrans cycle network.
Parking is available at the public car park located at the village hall or outside the post office a short walk from the property, both free of charge. There is also on road parking available in much of the village. Once parked, Upper Forge is accessed via the front door which opens onto a staircase which leads up to the first floor.

A light and bright duplex apartment with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The lack of any outdoor space and a tiny shower cubicle were the only downsides, otherwise we had a lovely week in a beautiful place.
