About this farm stay rental
The Farmhouse at Wheeldon Trees is brand new for 2022 and has already been awarded 5 Star Gold by Visit England. Downstairs there’s a farmhouse kitchen, reading room, sitting room, snug and powder room. Upstairs there’s three luxury double bedrooms, one with an ensuite and a bathroom with a walk-in shower and pink roll-top bath. It’s set in one of Derbyshire's most breathtaking valleys with a hot tub in its own private garden. Historic Wheeldon Trees Cottages is a stunning retreat of 10 beautiful cottages nestled under High Wheeldon. It came under new ownership in 2021. It has subsequently seen a huge investment in facilities and surroundings. The White Company supplies toiletries in every bathroom, linens are of the highest thread counts and the towels are the fluffiest in the Peaks. A luxury welcome tote awaits every guest and includes the retreat's own High Wheeldon Rising coffee. An honesty shop, laundry, new games room open 24 hours a day, free EV charging, electric bikes to use as you wish and a children's play area complete the retreat. If you're looking for a luxury cottage set within stunning scenery, The Farmhouse is definitely for you.

Our family of five had an amazing stay at the farmhouse! It was a beautiful combination of old charm and character mixed with modern comfort and convenience. Everything was so clean and so nicely arranged, organized, and decorated. The beds were comfortable and the options for seating throughout the house in living spaces and the kitchen were so helpful to us. We enjoyed eating in for most meals because of how spacious, lovely, clean, and well-stocked the kitchen was. Staying next to the working farm was also fun. We loved watching the process of herding sheep and got some good lessons from that. The beautiful scenery and peaceful environment was much needed and very welcome to our family after busy travels. We would highly recommend people to stay here! It was our favorite part of our two week vacation in England.

Loved this place so much. Stayed here with my wife and three daughters our first of three weeks here in the UK from the states. I honestly could have stayed here the whole time. The property is beautiful and the views are amazing, especially from the top of High Wheeldon. The farmhouse was very spacious, with good size bedrooms and nice bathrooms. Beds were really comfortable too. Loved the big kitchen with views of the back garden and was well stocked with everything you need. The welcome tote was a really nice surprise with a good variety of items that everyone loved. Hazel and Steve were both very helpful anytime we had a question or needed anything. The honesty shop was a nice extra too. Saved me a trip to the store, which wasn’t that far away. Perfect place to get away and enjoy the countryside but still be close enough to enjoy some nearby sites. Would highly recommend and would love to come back one day.

This stay was a 10/10 for us!
Stunning location, gorgeous farm house with lots of character and plenty room in the house for large family’s. The beds were super comfy and the pink bath is lovely. We enjoyed the games room honesty shop and laundry room too! Would 💯 come back and I would highly recommend staying here.
