This is the best property if you are wanting wonderful ocean views, Catalina Island Sunsets and a walk everywhere location....The Best Laguna Beach Village location...newly remodeled, updated, clean and well maintained...spectacular sunsets..... Catalina Island views…. and more. Wonderfully landscaped. Enjoy the ocean breezes and sleep to the sounds of crashing waves. This is the best of indoor / outdoor living. This property is walking distance to the beach, shopping district, entertainment district, 100+ restaurants, ice cream parlors, art galleries, Pageant of the Masters and world famous art festivals, museums, etc., etc. Very nearby are the community swimming pool, tennis courts and jogging track. The nearest beach has a playground, basketball courts, volleyball courts and tide pools. The property is located in within a 5-minute walk to the main downtown area. Many other beautiful beaches are steps away. This really is an exceptional location.
This property is exceptional and maintained very well. Totally remodeled. Newer hardwood flooring, newer Air Conditioning and Heating system, newer kitchen, newer pots, pans, dishes and flatware, newer cabinets, newer appliances, newer BBQ, newer furniture, newer bedding, newer linens, towels and more. While the reviews are wonderful they are older as this property has not been available/rented for over 7 years now. It is now reactivated on a limited rental basis. We currently have availability from January 14 through and including the night of Feb 17, 2023. The property is entirely updated and are not part of any of the previous reviews. All updates to the property are after the latest reviews. The property has been lovingly restored over the years. EVERYTHING is newer and maintained very well. This is a really good property at a great value. This home has a maximum overnight occupancy of 6.
The property has a large front deck that is private and fully enclosed and has ocean views and cool ocean breezes. The front deck provides the perfect spot for you and your family and guests to enjoy the ocean views and sunsets while sitting at the glass counter top bar area enjoying your favorite food and beverages or enjoy the other seating and lounging options provided along with the fire pits.
The home has a very nice private and fully enclosed backyard with multiple eating areas, sitting areas and an upgraded built in BBQ. There is a large screen TV with plenty of seating and space to enjoy your favorite shows, movie or sporting event. An overhead awning can be extended over the viewing area and creates a wonderful outdoor living room complete with outdoor lighting, fire pit, Magnolia trees and more.
The grounds are meticulously maintained and the walkways are decorated with wall art, flowers and trees. Plantings, flowers and trees are planted in such a way to enhance your senses with fragrances, colors and beauty and also attract butterflies, hummingbirds and birds, in general.
You will welcome all the little details that have been thought of in advance to make your stay both easy and wonderful. The front primary bedroom and the living room area both have ocean views and open up through French sliding doors to the front decks. The front deck extends across the front of the property and is furnished wonderfully.
The master bedroom has ocean views, an upgraded queen size bed, updated furniture and a flat screen TV.
The 2nd and 3rd Bedrooms each have upgraded queen mattresses and linens. Each bedroom has their own TV; one is a 37” flat screen and the other is a 50” flat screen.
The living room area has a newer sofa, newer chairs, desk and a 50 inch Flat Screen TV.
The kitchen has a gas Thermador oven/cooktop and is fully stocked with most cooking appliances and utensils. This area has countertop seating for 4 and opens up to the beautiful backyard.
The property is appropriate for children and pets can be approved.
BUT, PETS MUST BE APPROVED.
Beach towels, chairs & beach umbrellas are provided. The property has everything needed for a great stay.

Wow! Where do I start? I come to southern California for the same investor conference every year. This time, my wife and I decided to turn the trip into a mini-vacation without our kids. This is the first time I've rented this unit, but it certainly won't be my last. It was honestly the best VRBO experience that I have ever had. We plan to make this trip (and this unit) an annual thing going forward.
Location: A short 5 minute walk to the shops, restaurants and beach. At the same time, on a very quiet street with virtually no traffic.
Views: Great/clear/unobstructed view of both ocean and hills. Really much better than we were expecting.
Space: Well laid out, very private, with a warm cottage feel.
Kitchen: Well equipped with great new Thermador appliances.
Furniture: Extremely comfortable and well-decorated.
Property Management: Bob was incredibly proffessional and easy to work with. The booking process was painless and check-in/out was smooth and stress-free.

Our family of 6 from Ohio enjoyed our vacation in Laguna Beach. This property was a perfect location......great walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, etc. Also, Bob provided all the amenities to help make our stay more relaxing. We would definitely return to this beautiful beach house!

Although we've been fortunate with our VRBO stays, this is the first we've actually returned too.
Terrific location for walking downtown with easy parking. Bob is easy to do business with and was prompt with all communications.
Looking forward to our next return to Laguna Beach and stay at Bob's property!

My husband and I stayed in one of the apartments Bob has on the property back in May; we had the whole family with us on this trip. Bob graciously provided everything we needed for our 1 year old grandson - highchair, pack-n-play, stroller and toys for the beach.
The house is nicely furnished; great location; absolutely beautiful view of the ocean - breathtaking sunsets! Our kids were truly impressed!
We strolled through the First Thursdays Art Walk, attended a play at the high school (right down the street - the students were fantastic!), and did all the normal things you do when in Laguna: go to the beach, eat at great restaurants, shop, and just relax.
I highly recommend Bob's rentals! Believe me, you will truly enjoy your stay!
