Flat description:
The flat , which has been recently renewed (2012) is located in a typical local house in Riomaggiore historical downtown. It is 300 meters from the sea.
The first floor has a living room, 2 bedrooms and bathroom. The second floor has a small living room with kitchenette, a bedroom and another bathroom.
The apartment is a few minutes walking from the railway station or from the car parking.
We advise our guests that it is strongly recommended to arrive by train and to leave the car at La Spezia railway station parking as the car is not useful at 5 Terre (where you can go by train, by boat or even on foot across all the villages).
Riomaggiore is only 8 minutes by train from La Spezia and the parking in La Spezia is far cheaper than in 5 Terre.

The apartment was nice and in the same building as a gelato shop. There was a good restaurant within a block. It was quite a hike from the train station, uphill and many steps. However, I am 82 years old and I was able to make it, but I could not have carried my own luggage. Just be aware it is a lovely place, but it is a hike to get there. The host was available to meet us and gave us a tour of the building when we got there, she was very helpful. I would recommend this lovely apartment to anyone who visited this area.

We had a short stay but under weird circumstances so I can’t really give any accurate details. The place was in a good location and the lady who checked us in was very nice.
