Beautifully restored building and safe parking in the back garden.
Restaurant closed some days and no other food option in hotel. Hotel will book a nearby restaurant for you 5 minutes walk away.

This is a converted monastery, and rated as best in Besancon.
Lots of historic charm, but basically old. Lighting in room is
very limited. Parking in back, but limited and tight. Dining
room is not owned by hotel, but food very good. Staff friendly
and pleasant. Very atmospheric. Our suite is pretty large, but
the small stuff (bathroom, toilet, closets) carved out of odd spaces.
I'd stay here again.

Lack of staff meant slow for bar service.
