A genuine authentic chateau experience. Not a 5 star hotel but that’s not why you would go there. So much history and outstanding hosts who were extremely helpful in making us feel welcome.

The owners were very kind and attentive.
The breakfast was well presented and of good quality.
The grounds were in a poor state and without a proper patio/ hard surface, hence no where truly comfortable to sit and enjoy the beautiful view of the Loire.
The bedroom suite was typically “ old chateau “ quirky but charming.
Sadly, the bathroom was a disappointment, clean towels each day but the sanitary ware was tired and the decoration was 1950, paint peeling off the roof light was awful. The bath was ancient with shower facilities limited to a hand held spray with nothing to hang it to for support.
