About this bed and breakfast
Guest cottage located 15 minutes from Historic downtown Silverton, 10 minutes from Silverton Reservoir and 20 minutes from Silver Falls State park. Master bedroom with Queen size bed, upstairs loft with 2 extra long twin beds, and twin size daybed in living room with twin trundle. Kitchenette has microwave, toaster, coffee maker, suitable for breakfast and heating up food. Full size fridge. Minimum stay 2 nights, Maximum stay 4 nights. This is a private guest cottage separate from our residence. Experience a taste of county life with Dogs, Cats, Alpacas, Goats, Turkeys & Chickens on our 9 acre's. Note for guests: While we are not “ off the grid”, we can and do loose power, have sketchy cell service and problems with * Wi. The downstairs is heated and cooled by a new mini split and will sleep 4 guests comfortably. There is a window air conditioner in the loft upstairs, but on hot days it still gets very stuffy and warm. We are in the COUNTRY, bugs and critters live here. We do not use Herbicides or Insecticides as we are a home to Bees. We our best to keep unwelcome visitors at bay, but sometimes they drop in uninvited. For guests who have allergies- we do have cats and dogs- and seasonally there is field buring in the area. PLEASE read the welcome email from VRBO that you will receive prior to your stay. It will have detailed directions and contact numbers, the property can be challenging to find.

This property is absolutely stunning. The hosts are incredibly nice and friendly. Its a very short drive to Silver Falls State Park, which we hiked and was NOT disappointed with its beauty. I highly recommend this place! Plus they have cute farm animals, which we enjoyed. We will be back to this property next time we come back that way!

Thank you Mavis & Dan — perfect spot for short a quiet getaway! Kindly let us use their bbq, animals all around were super friendly — even though I could never get the rest to let Leo get a treat. Neat place, “off the grid” but still close enough.

Beautiful little farm with guest house. Owners are very friendly and non-invasive. Property is extremely close to Silver Falls for hiking and also extremely close to Silverton, which is a cute little town to walk through for coffee, antiques, and meals. read all of the information about Wi-Fi and come prepared with some downloaded movies on your computer. lots of books and games to choose from and weather permitting outside areas to sit and enjoy a lot of nature! would definitely stay out again without hesitation, very comfortable and cozy! try OSO for dinner-excellent food and staff.
