About this house rental
Peak Rate – May 15th – September 15th Thursday - Sunday $800
Peak Rate – May 15th – September 15th Monday - Wednesday $700
Non-peak March 1st - May 14th $400
Winter Rate September 16th – February 28th $400
*New rates as of 1/21/26 only applies to new reservations.
All major holidays, spring break will be charged at peak rate.
Dawg House was established in 2022, this beautiful 4 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom is located in the Concan Country Club gated community, giving you close access to the Frio Valley Ranch Golf Course and House Pasture Cattle Company. You will be able to enjoy the hill country sunset from this home. There is a propane and wood/charcoal grill under the outdoor patio. This home will have two separate living areas in the home, one is the main living area in the home, and the second will be upstairs with access through the outside of the home, giving your family guest access to a separate bedroom living area and bathroom. This home will have a room for everyone to enjoy, allowing space for 22 people to enjoy. Let's just say this is going to be the only time we will all enjoy being in the "Dawg House."
In order to help keep the cost of your rental down, we do offer our guest the option to bring their own Linens and Towels. We do offer the option to rent them at an extra cost. For all Full, Queen or King bed the cost will be $24, twin beds will be charged at $12. If wanting to rent linens and towels for your stay, please allow us a 4 week prior to arrival notice. Make note that we do have a limited supply, and can not guarantee we will have lines and towels readily available.
What to Bring.
LINENS: Bring linens and towels, pillows, blanket/bedspread are provided in the home.
TOWELS: Bath towels, washcloths, kitchen towels and pool towels.
CHAIRS: Bring folding or sack chairs to take to the river. The chairs at the rental should not be removed from the property.
PAPER GOODS: Paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, paper plates, plastic cups, plastic ware.
SOAP: Dishwashing, laundry and hygiene products
BBQ: There are BBQ cooking utensils, but remember to bring charcoal/lighter/matches.
Your kitchen is complete with dinnerware, silverware, glasses, basic cookware, coffee pot, microwave, pots & pans.
We provide:
* Starter pack (includes 2 trash bags, small dish soap, dishwasher soap, 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom)
• Coffee filters
• Daily garbage pick up service
We do not provide:
• Tall kitchen bags
• Paper towels
• Hand soap
• Shampoo
• Dishwashing liquid/powder
• Salt & pepper
• Toilet Paper

We loved the house, but had bad luck with it. We didn’t have consistent hot water the whole stay and had to share showers or take cold showers. We also had a refrigerator go out and had to go buy ice and pack everything in coolers and in the casita fridge to save our groceries. They did bring a spare fridge the next day. The hot water was temporarily fixed, but didn’t last. The igniter was messed up so it was just luck if we got it working. I spoke with the front office and someone was supposed to call because I had asked if we could have some compensation for the I convinces, but we never heard anything. The house was designed very well and we loved the open concept and the pool and hot tub. This is a house would love to revisit so we are hoping you have better luck next year.!

This is our 2nd year to stay at the Dawg House. We love this house. Only thing is that back room stays warmer than rest of house, so at night it's a little uncomfortable. Great space for several families staying together. Good location except the 14 speed bumps from the entrance to the house...lol. Already booked again for next year!
