This is a truly unique property in a beautiful, peaceful setting. We stayed in a junior suite and enjoyed the tranquility. We did have a/c in our room, along with a mini fridge and kettle. The service, food and beer were amazing. My only complaint was that the pool was not yet open for use during our stay. However, instead of spending time at the pool as planned, we drove a short distance to the charming town of Assisi. Overall, we enjoyed our weekend getaway at San Biagio and look forward to returning one day soon!

We needed a hotel close to a family member's rural home, and this one was a good choice. The building was originally a monastery (built in 1333), and it has been exquisitely renovated. The setting is beautiful and the view from our room was a panorama of the countryside. Not much is happening near the hotel, which is perfect if you want a quiet place in the country. The last part of the journey to the hotel (less than a mile) is a dirt road, so getting there in the winter would likely be difficult. Otherwise it was very manageable. We did not have the opportunity to use the spa facilities, but they looked great. There is also a lap pool with a beautiful view. We ate in the hotel dining room one night, and the meal was good. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
