About this lodge
The Barbagatto tower is located in the Hermitage of the Sun in Spoleto, a beautiful farmhouse completely
family managed. The house is set in an idyllic picturesque valley with stunning views of the Spoleto Valley and the many hilltop villages. Far away, the mountains on one side and Montefalco, Assisi, Trevi, Spello
on the other as a backdrop. The Tower has 2 floors. On the ground floor is a fully-fitted kitchen,a bathroom, and an open dining room with a BBQ.
On the top of the tower there is a roof-terrace for very exclusive sunbathing or for unforgettable candle
lights dinners..There is a wide outside area for eating al fresco (with barbecue, sofa and see-saw) and a spacious garden which provides both shaded and sunny areas. Outside there is an huge beautiful swimming pool (17m x 7m) that enjoys full sun and uninterrupted views.
Night time is something special in Eremo del Sole with underwater pool lighting, the twinkling lights
from the Spoleto's valley, magical fire flies all around and the magnificent stars not dimmed by light pollution.
In Spoleto there is a great selection of friendly restaurants that will serve you fantastic home made food,
truffle, wine, at prices you will not believe. Spoleto offers a wide range of centuries-old traditional food
products and dishes featuring pasta,truffle and olves's oil and there is an array of good wines including
the best famous Sagrantino.

Lovely house outside of Spoleto. Better place for summer because the pool was closed during our visit and the outdoor space not usable because of cool weather. There were also no instructions for renters.

The property is amazing. It’s in a stunning setting with views over the valley. Although there are two other properties nearby (the pool is shared with the guests staying there), the outdoor spaces are very private with no one walking past

Well kept property in beautiful corner of Umbria. Car essential s property is very rural’local town Spoleto only 10 mins drive away with full range of shops and amenities
