Good place to stay. One mile into city center. 2 bedrooms are up 1 flight of very narrow & steep stairs. As a result, we chose to leave our suitcases downstairs. The bathroom was nice but downstairs. It has a washer & a drying rack which was very nice.

Older area with a 15 minute walk into central York. We felt it was good vakue. The stairs are quite steep which could be challenging for some guests.

Comfortable clean home with everything we needed and 15 min walk into York,which is a lovely town with plenty of shops. Also shops nearby including a fish and chip shop. Only downside was trouble parking but we found somewhere not too far away.

Property was in need of a little TLC. Some of internal doors didn't close properly which could be a problem if fire was to break out whilst in the property. Showerhead in need of cleaning (potential legionella risk)Sofa was quite shabby & in need of cleaning. Stair carpet a little loose on couple of the steps. However it was suitable for our needs on this occasion as we didnt need to spend a lot of time in the property. I'm sure these things we have pionted out can easily be rectified so shouldn't put others off booking if put right.
