About this villa rental
'Villa Pla' is a villa in the beautiful town of Jalon/Xalo on the Costa Blanca. The villa has a private swimming pool. You can enjoy the peace and beauty of the unspoilt surroundings or take a leisurely walk through the vineyards into the nearby picturesque village which is well known for it's good restaurants and the local wine. A homely atmosphere make the villa a truly wonderful home to stay in, not only in the summer months but the winter too!
The poolside terrace has loungers for relaxing and the BBQ to enjoy the spectacular sunsets over the mountains.
There are 3 bedrooms, the first one having a double bed (and one extra bed if required). The other 2 bedrooms both have twin beds. Sleeps 6/7 people comfortably (there is a cot and a high chair on request). There are 2 bathrooms. The property has TV satellite and free Wifi.
The house is totally suitable and comfortable for longer winter lets. We always work out a specially discounted rate for November to May longer stays. Please contact me for the best rate for your dates.
The Jalon Valley (Vall de Pop) is known as The Valley of Wine. It is surrounded by magnificent mountains that seem to change form every time you look at them. Jalon itself lies in the centre of the valley whilst surrounded by many smaller villages nestled amongst the grape vines, almond and orange trees.
In the winter months the Costa Blanca is lucky enough to have nearly as many sunny days as in the summertime. The Jalon valley is a walker's paradise, with routes ranging from a very gentle stroll to a six hour walk around the Sierra Bernia mountains to the south of Jalon. You may even like to take a trek through the vineyards on horseback, from one of the local stables. In late January the whole of the valley is obscured with almond blossom. One can only describe the view as a magnificent blanket of pink and white.
Life in the Jalon Valley is very slow and tranquil, yet only a twenty to thirty minute drive away is the hustle and bustle of the nightlife and water sports of the coastal resorts of Denia, Javea, Moraira and Calpe.
The village of Jalon revolves around The Old Square where you will find a beautiful fountain around which there is an open market held on Tuesday mornings. Seen from the square is the famous Jalon Church with its blue dome. Roaming around the many small streets, you will find an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants.
Jalon is very famous for its local wines. There are at least three bodegas where you can spend many a leisurely hour sampling the various types. But beware, some are very strong!
The Jalon valley hosts around fifty restaurants to choose from, with International as well as regional cuisine.
There is a Marine and Exotic Animal Park called Mundomar in Benidorm. For more details visit www.mundomar.es
There is a big Water Park called Aqualandia in Benidorm (adjacent to Mundomar). For more details visit www.aqualandia.net
Terra Mitica, Spain's largest theme park is at Benidorm and can be accessed via exit 65A on the A7 motorway.

The property was a good size and the private pool being the main feature. My 3 Children aged 12-6 enjoyed the space and my wife and I enjoyed the quiet location. The villa had all we needed so on occasions we just stayed in and had a meal rather than go into town. We stayed for 2 weeks.
Raul was very good with communication and his Dad was a gentleman when coming to the villa to change the bed linen or clean the pool.
Overall great experience.

This property was perfect for our stay near Jalon with my parents and their young dog who had acres of room to run around. The host was extremely helpful and we will certainly return

spacious. comfortable. access to garage so that our bikes were safe when we were out. Villa cool on hot days but sunny sheltered places available all day.
Would be top of our list if we return to the area.
