The family who own this guesthouse are incredibly friendly and welcoming. You'll feel more than welcome. The location is perfect, with a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. Parking is available for your rental car. You can even barbecue in the garden.

Il soggiorno nella Bird House di Anastasia e Giorgos è stato semplicemente indimenticabile.
La casetta è immersa nel silenzio di un uliveto e della macchia mediterranea, isolata dall'edificio principale: solo i gatti di giorno e i porcospini la sera verranno a disturbarvi!
L'accoglienza dei proprietari è stata splendida e generosa, la casa è pulitissima, dotata dei comfort essenziali, come il bagno privato, una piccola cucina con gli utensili di base, una piastra da cottura e un lavandino esterni.
Il relax e la tranquillità sono assicurati.
Mi è piaciuto tutto, ma è importante sottolineare che la camera da letto è accessibile soltanto attraverso una scala a pioli in legno, non adatta a persone con problemi di mobilità o a bambini.
Il wifi è molto debole, nel caso foste internet-dipendenti tenetene conto! Per noi è stata la scusa perfetta per disintossicarci dai social durante il nostro soggiorno.

I loved my stay here. Such a peaceful, relaxing place..not as 'in the middle of nowhere' as I was expecting, but that turned out to be a plus, in that it's only a 20 minute stroll to the Asklepion ruins, which are worth seeing.
The rest of the time you don't need to go anywhere - if you've rented transport you aren't far from the town and beach, but if you arrive under your own steam, a little jaded from travelling and crowds, then take some supplies with you (there's a kettle, a toaster, fridge and a one-ring electric cooker for basic catering) and gang out in a hammock with the rescue cats, (all healthy and neutered - so good to see), listening to the cicadas.
There was a lunar eclipse the first night I was there - the huge, red moon was incredible, watched from a hammock slung between olive trees and a beer gifted by the lovely owner, George.
The bedroom was simple, but homely, comfortable and charming. Typical Greek bathroom (not state of the art, with a one-handed shower) but the quietness and helpfulness of the family made up for it.
Their fresh figs are the best I've ever tasted - I'd almost make a special journey back just for more of them!
The grounds weren't as extensive as I had anticipated - just a garden really. I'd come to do some painting and there wasn't really enough subject matter. However, I went to the ruins instead, which I hadn't originally intended, and the guest house was a wonderful 'home' to return to at the end of the day.
