About this villa rental
The villa is located in the heart of Tuscany, between Florence and Arezzo, in a splendid panoramic position on the Medieval Castle of Poppi.
The price from the VRBO platform is calculated correctly up to 8 guests with 4 bedrooms 4 bathrooms but if for example with 8 guests you want 5 bedrooms you will have to write 10 guests. The lower the number of rooms booked, the lower the commissions to be paid to VRBO.
VILLA the BALZE is an early '900, finely restored and equipped with every comfort, to house up to ten people. The house has five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a kitchen and two living, surface of 180 square meters. It has three entrances and is on two floors. On the ground floor there is a double room with bathroom with shower (also for disabled), tea room with wood stove, sofa and desk, dining room with sofas and satellite TV, kitchen with fireplace, table for ten people, dishwasher, five-burner stove, oven, extractor hood, fridge and freezer. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms with two bathrooms with shower, two double rooms with shared bathroom with shower (access to this plan directly from the garden).
Outside is the private swimming pool (5 x 11m) with indoor and outdoor lighting, hot shower and deck (open in mid and high season). The brightness of each corner of the residence, nestled in the quiet of the forest of oak trees, where spot deer, fallow deer, roe deer and collect mushrooms, blackberries, olives - depending on the season, make the villa an ideal place for a living in absolute tranquility, immersed in nature. In addition, there is a fantastic stone barbecue indoors with lighting, barbecue, wood oven pizza, sink with drinking water, table tops, table and chairs for eating meals outdoors - from which to enjoy the view overview on the beautiful Valle del Casentino.
The owners expect the guests with their specialties welcome, and every midweek prepare homemade pasta with meat sauce.
The sea is approx Adriatrico 90 minutes and the Tyrrenic Sea ca. 120 minutes by car. And 'possible to swim in the lake, which is approx 1.5 km from the town center of Pratovecchio or in the river Arno. Excursions can be made to the zoo park Poppi, the Sanctuary of La Verna, the hermitage of Camaldoli and the National Park Casentino Forest. Florence is an hour's drive, Arezzo and Siena is 40 minutes 90 minutes. From Arezzo you get to Rome by train in only an hour and a quick five minutes, so are possible day trips to the capital.

"A great place for holidays !
The house is perfect (amazing rooms with great bedding), well-appointed with a large and confortable pool. Monica is a perfect owner bringing awesome Lasagna & Pizza !! We had a great time and the small village of Poppi is really nice. Don''t miss the annual wine tasting around the 25th of august in the old city !
