Podere San Bartolo farmhouse, with its apartments in the heart of Tuscany in the Chianti hills, is the ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday, immersed in the surrounding nature and in the life of a small town.
The Podere San Bartolo farmhouse consists of five apartments:
"San Bartolo" with its 3 apartments located in the immediate vicinity of the historic center of the town of Barberino Val D’Elsa
"Antiche Mura" with its two apartments located in the walls of the historic center of the town of Barberino Val D’Elsa.
Immersed in the olive grove of the farmhouse, the garden with a huge lawn and equipped swimming pool. Here the gaze is lost in the valley of Val’Elsa ...
San Bartolo is a stone building with a "Manor House" and a "Barn". In the old Manor House two apartments San Bartolo 2 and San Bartolo 3, while the Fienile, San Bartolo 1 is a single apartment.
Tenuta Bonomonte has two farmhouses Villa Prumiano, in Tenuta Bonomonte and Podere San Bartolo in Barberino Val D’Elsa.

Originally we (2 adults, a teenager and a dog) booked the apartment Antiche Mura 4, but Sonia told us something about a water damage in this apartment. So we changed (with a discount) to the apartment Podere San Bartolo 1C (ground floor). This has 1 small sleeping-room, a kitchen/living-room with an additional bed, a table for 4 persons, and a very small and old fashioned bathroom. The furnishings is simple, functional and old-rustic, with the style of the Tuscany. The kitchen has everything that you need to cook smaller meals. The equipment of the kitchen is old but functional. WiFi inside Bartolo 1C is not really working good and the TV is really old. The appartment is poorly soundproofed from the apartment above. The pool is really great with a spectacular view over the mountains of the tuscany. This apartment is ok for max. two persons for a shorter vacation. Otherwise we would recommend an other, larger and more comfortable apartment of Podere San Bartolo (A or B).
Sonia is a friendly, pleasant and helpful person. Barberino val D‘elsa, a lovely small town, located between Florence and Siena is perfect to discover the most important and beautiful places in the Tuscany. In this town, located on a hill, you can find delicious restaurants, bars, a bakery and a small supermarket.
We spent two wonderful weeks (07.2018) in the Tuscany and we‘ll come again to this beautiful region of Italy.

We had a wonderful holiday in the house of Sonia. We were really welcome and the house and swimming pool are great! The view on the hill is amazing!

Sonia was lovely and the property is as shown exactly. We were very comfortable staying in this home and enjoyed the wine very much.
