Permit #PCUP00-110013-The Chinook Studios are a great choice for an individual or couple seeking to visit Orcas Island on a budget. These fresh, remodeled studio apartments are located on seven pastoral acres within easy walking distance of Eastsound Village and the airport as well as the village shops, restaurants, cafes, galleries and waterfront park.
This apartment is a cozy space with custom built queen size alcove bed, kitchenette with granite countertop, and comfortable leather couch. Other features include an electric fireplace, free wireless internet access, and TV/dvd player. The kitchen includes an electric stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and all of the necessary dishes, utensils and cookware. There is a bath with corner shower. Towels and linens are provided.
If you prefer to leave your car in Anacortes you can rent a car at the ferry landing, take the Orcas Island Shuttle (summer only), rent a car or ride your bike (approximately 10 miles) to Eastsound Village. Bicycle rentals are available at Wildlife Cycles in Eastsound.
Maximum occupancy is two adults per unit. A Chinook Studio may suit a couple and baby or toddler, as well.

We were super happy with our stay here! It was clean and just the right size for a couple. We didn't use the fully stocked kitchen but it looked to have everything you might need to cook at home. The location and proximity to shops and restaurants meant we got to walk everywhere! I highly recommend this place. Communication with the manager was also top notch and very appreciated. Thanks for making our trip to Orcas a fabulous one!
